Privacy policy: Lumber Calculator

The short version

Lumber Calculator does not collect anything. It makes no network request. What you type stays on your phone.

What the app stores

Your settings, your calculation history and your saved jobs are written to your device's own storage so they are still there next time you open the app. They are not transmitted anywhere, they are not readable by us, and they are deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

What the app sends

Nothing. The app has no server, no account system, no analytics and no crash reporting. It works with the phone in aeroplane mode, which is the simplest proof of the claim.

Advertising

The current version shows no ads.

A future version will show banner advertising from Google AdMob to fund the free tier. When that version ships, this policy will be updated before release to describe what AdMob collects (an advertising identifier and coarse device information, used to select ads) and to link to Google's own policy.

Purchases

The current version has no in-app purchases. If a paid option is added in a future version, Google Play will process it, we will never see your payment details, and this policy will be updated before that version ships.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, of any age.

Your rights

There is no data of yours in our possession, so there is nothing for us to export or erase on request. To erase what is on your phone, clear the app's storage or uninstall it.
